Chicago

When Brianna and I received our flight itinerary to Uganda we saw that we were going to fly in and out of Chicago.  Being the adventuresome people that we are we decided to go to Chicago a few days early and enjoy the windy city.  Our flight was scheduled for Friday, June 3 so on Tuesday of that week we packed up and headed north.  We really enjoyed seeing the sites of Chicago and really, really enjoyed our free stay at the Embassy Suite hotel.  Yes I said FREE!  We put the points that Gary had collected on work trips to good use and stayed 3 nights for free!!  Woohoo!!
We enjoyed the Shedd aquarium the first day

 Octopus
 Crab legs anyone?
We loved seeing all of the jellies
The kids with the Chicago skyline behind them
On the water taxi
 The Navy Pier
 My boys!
Caleb and "Tannah" (that is what he calls her)
 Mommy and Claire
Lake Michigan was full of sailboats
On our 2nd day we went to the Skydeck at the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower)
 We are 103 floors up

 The view from the Skydeck
Claire was not phased by the heights at all

No trip to Chicago is complete without Chicago deep dish pizza!
My next post will start our Uganda stories.
