TA!!!!!

We have received the two little letters we have been waiting so long for......TA!

 

We have our travel approval!  One month from today we will be on a plane heading to go get our girl!  We will miss her birthday by a couple of weeks but it will be the last birthday that she has to spend without a family!

 

We have been skyping weekly with Caelyn and cannot wait to tell her the news.  Her foster parents tell us that she asks DAILY if today is the day that we are coming to get her.  Soon, Caelyn soon!

More birthday news and a video!!!

I just wanted to share some of the pictures from Brianna's 18th birthday.  We took her out to eat the evening of her birthday.  She chose where we went.  We went to Chili's!  It is so nice to spend this one on one time with our kiddos on their birthdays!

With all of this celebrating, I think her favorite birthday present came from across the ocean....a birthday greeting from her sister, Caelyn!!!

Today, we celebrate Brianna's 18th birthday!

 

Yes, you read that right!  She is 18!

 

A legal adult, ugh! 

 

I am not old enough to have an 18 year old right?

 

She was my dream come true.

 

Growing up, whenever anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up

 

all I would say was a mom!

 

With the arrival of Brianna my dream had come true!

 

 

 

I am so proud of this girl of mine.

 

She has the sweetest spirit.

 

A heart of gold.

 

A passion for orphans.

 

What is the only thing she wants for her birthday?

 

Money toward her next mission trip!

 

Yep, Uganda is calling her again.

 

 

She has become a young lady who is beautiful inside and out.

 

God has big plans for her.

 

Can't wait to see the journey He has planned for her.

 

I will always and forever be her biggest cheerleader!
