~Updated pictures that we received from Korea!!! Our little guy is just adorable and I can't wait until I can show you his picture! We have almost all of the paperwork done for our home study and we are getting our fingerprints done on Monday. The kids have to have physicals and we have them scheduled for later this month. We are trying to have everything done so that once the physicals are done we can send everything to our home study agency. We've completed all of our education requirements already. Once we have an approved home study we can be officially matched and the countdown to Caleb can begin!!
~Summertime fun!!! Now that we are settled I finally feel like we can enjoy some normal summertime activities. We found a fun park nearby that has great play equipment, a pond, a creek that leads to the pond, and a lot of ducks and geese.
Claire isn't crying, she was yelling because she thought they were leaving her behind!!
~Fun craft projects. Brianna and I have been having fun being somewhat crafty. We got a lot of the work done while the men of the house were working. Nicholas was mowing and Gary and Hunter were organizing the shed while Claire supervised. The boys want to be crafty too so we are on the look out for boy approved crafts! I, however, enjoyed the one on one time with Brianna while we worked on our projects.
This is a board we made for Claire. Since we are military we can't really measure the kids on a door or wall of our house so we decorate a fence post and measure them on it. We can then take the board with us when we move. Well, we finally got Claire's done and it turned out really cute. We even have her first measurement on it. She was so proud. Her full name is on the top, that is why I cropped the picture. :)
Brianna painted these for her bedroom wall..These are the shirts Brianna and I are going to wear when we go to the Jonas Brother's concert on the 16th. They turned out really cute.

Robin, I highly recommend Parenting Your Internationally Adopted child by Patty Cogen. She has a chapter on sleep that you may find helpful. I also recommend www.a4everfamily.org. Although the website appears to be down right now, it has some excellent articles. If I remember right, there are some sleep-related ones. Good Luck! Tammy Stevenson
Came over from Sharla's blog.
No real advice on the sleeping but much empathy!!! :) My oldest bio. didn't really sleep thru the night until 5 YEARS. S is doing well, but does end up in our bed on occasion and when she does, snuggles right in!
It is SO HARD when you have one not sleeping. Prayers for sleep soon!
Praying for a good night's sleep (or two!).
Cute projects.
Blessings,
Sarah
Robin,
Praying for sleep for you my sweet friend! Youhave had so much going on so you need your rest! xo
Great photos...so glad you're settling in to your new home! Will pray for Claire, I know it's hard for her, but it's not easy on mom and dad either!
Hugs friend!

Love all the pics and the updates. I love the Wordless Wednesday pics, too. Can't wait to see all of Caleb's pics..someday soon. Brianna, the tshirts are great!! trina
Although Jeongah has been with us for 4.5 years and has done 7 moves, she still has difficulty adjusting and realizing we are not going to "move away" while she sleeps. It takes a few months for her to adjust and then we are back to "smooth sailing", or at least a good night's sleep! lol
About 3 moves ago we purchased a night light that sits on her dresser and it goes with us on all moves-both conus and oconus and has seemed to help her sleep in her bed as she can wake up and see what is around her and that nothing has changed as well as come peek in our room and then ask me to tuck her back in-
Praying for Claire to feel comfort and peace and for mom and dad to get a full nights rest!
Tamm
Robin,
LOVE the craft projects!! You guys will be quite a hit at the concert in your t-shirts, I'm sure!
So sorry to hear about your sleep problems. I have wondered what moving will do to a newly settled child. We will be praying!!
It's fun to read your comments from people that I see on other blogs and some that I "jump" to from your blog.
Miss you guys, but glad that you've gotten settled in your new place. Email and let me know about her homeschooling this year. We're doing 1/2 time homeschool with JuneBug because there's just not the challenge he needs in the school here.
Can't wait to hear more about your sweet Caleb!
